Kingsgate Equine began with a simple belief
That horses are not just animals of beauty and strength, they are bridges between people, cultures, and untold opportunities.

OUR STORY
Founded by Arooj Kayani and Kasim Ahmad Khan, Kingsgate is rooted in generations of equestrian heritage, but focused on rewriting the future. Our story began at the intersection of tradition and transformation, where Pakistan’s rich history in tent pegging, polo, and horsemanship meets a modern need for inclusivity, access, and global connection.

AROOJ KAYANI
Arooj, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated female equestrians, broke barriers as the first Pakistani woman appointed to the International Tent Pegging Federation’s Women’s Committee, and as an international gold judge.
Her passion for riding was never just personal, it was about representation, access, and rewriting what it means to be a woman in sport.
KASIM AHMED KHAN
Kasim, a third-generation cavalryman and international polo player, was raised around horses, tradition, and discipline.
With decades of experience in coaching and horse training, and hundreds of riders and horses under his care, he brought to Kingsgate not only technical expertise but a deep respect for legacy and structure.

We’re creating a place where riders and horses can grow together as part of a supportive community.

About Kingsgate
We started in borrowed paddocks and temporary spaces. Today, we run equestrian programs, host polo and tent pegging events, provide veterinary services in underserved communities, and work to raise the profile of Pakistani equestrian sports internationally.
We’re based in Lahore and work with communities in cities like Jhelum, plus partners across Pakistan and the Middle East.
What We Do
Pakistan has a strong equestrian tradition, but access to quality training and care has been limited - especially for women, working animal owners, and young people from underrepresented communities.
We run riding programs for young women, provide veterinary care and education for tonga drivers and donkey cart owners, develop competitive riders, and promote Pakistani equestrian culture.
How We Work
Our programs combine riding instruction with character development, host events that connect Pakistani riders with international competitors, and provide practical support for the people and animals that depend on each other.
